Eventhough cats are carnivore, it does not seem to stop them from eating all kinds of food, even if some of them are highly dangerous and toxic for them.

The Theory

Catfood is nutritionally balanced and covers all their needs, so in an ideal world, cats would only eat catfood and only drink water.

The Reality

But in reality this is not the case, since these crafty and notorious creatures, manage to eat and drink, anything that smells nice to them, no matter if it's dangerous or even lethal...

Cat Diet

The common impression is that a cat knows what's good to eat, which unfortunately is not the case, since it would save us a lot of trouble. It can certainly recognize rotten foot but that's as far as it goes. Any cat may attempt to consume large quantities of substances that can create serious problems or even prove fatal.

Safe food for cats

Cooked meat

An ideal source of protein is chicken, beef and fish but only cooked, boneless and skinless.

Cooked vegetables

Some cats seem to like pumpkin, broccoli and carrot.
